Went for my routine antenatal check up tdy at KK. Im already 18 weeks preg & most of my fwens are already putting on their ahli nujum caps to telek whether my babe's gonna be a boy or gerl. Most of my malays fwens predicted that its gonna be a girl whereas my chinese fwens claim its gonna be a boy. All these guessing games makes me sooo excited & eager to knw my babe's gender.

So tdy during scan while showing me the babe's position, spine etc, I asked my gynae whether I can peek at my babe's gender. She smiled & said "I try ok, hopefully yr baby will open his legs so we can peep". I held my breath while she went searching for the "thing" in between my babe's legs. Both hubby's eyes & mine were staring at the screen not even daring to blink! Thn my gynae said "Ok here's the legs..... aiyah only open a bit leh..." I rubbed my tummy & said "Baby, pls open yr legs wider lah..." But my babe totally refused! Arrrghhh! Then the screen went blank & when my gynae searched agn, it shows my babe waving his/her hands violently & the nxt minute my babe turned his/her back on us! Yess!!! I can only see the back of my babe's head!

"Aiyah yr baby's shy lah..... dun want to show yet" & I couldnt agree more with my gynae. So I guess the suspense will continue till my nxt scan on the 7 July whereby it will be a thorough scan & also to see the gender. So pls baby do open yr tiny legs wider & dun be shy okies! (",)

PS: Oh I heard my babe's heartbeats through the doppler.. its really LOUD & sounds line hundreds of horses galloping!! Tee hee!!

Its my cuzzin's wedding tdy, although its a simple wedding I can see that both bride & groom are very happy. I was praying very hard that my babe tak meragam & I muz say that my babe have been very good tdy. I didnt feel tired or giddy & no squemishness too! In fact I was very active tdy, running around chatting to my relatives & taking photos. Oh I have been eating non stop too!!

The DJs were good too. They played all kinds of songs ranging frm 60s to latest songs, also Bollywood songs as well! Not only that they cld also sing Bollywood songs! Of course there's karaoke session & Abang also sings! Mula2 malu taik kucing lepas tu bila dah nyanyi tak ingat dunia... dgn penuh perasaan plak tu! He sang "Mahligai Syahdu" by Hattan, jiwang jgk laki aku nie! Hehe!

My cuzzin the groom, who is a karaoke fanatic also took the opportunity to sing & dedicate the song "Dalam Diam Aku Mencintaimu" by Stings to his wife. Whilst singing he held his wife's hand & also kissed her after the song! Soo romantic one till it brought tears to my eyes... aku plak yg melebih. But his wife maintained her cool & juz smile... takut mascara smudge kot! Hehe! Ni kalau Zue confirmed dah banjir daa... kan Zue kan kan kan?? Ahakz!!

Overall I did enjoy myself tdy & tiredness only sets in when I reach home. Soooo exhausted that I slept like a baby! To Ashik & Siti Mariam, Selamat Pengantin Baru! (",)
